AAMI and PDA (Parenteral Drug Association) Plan to Explore Collaborations

The heads of both organizations met on January 29th to sign a collaboration agreement, which highlighted their goals of furthering the missions of both organizations and enhancing value for all parties involved. The five principal areas in which they believe collaboration can yield great benefit are: developing/evaluating common business systems, supporting joint projects, offering members a reduced price for joining the other organization, developing a joint meeting, and co-marketing training courses, publications, and training courses. The PDA was founded in 1946, and is a non-profit organization that develops scientifically sound and practical technical information, as well as resources for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical community.
